Helsinki Regional Transport (HSL) has announced a significant price reduction for the Easter holiday period, offering all single tickets for a flat rate of two euros.
The promotion runs from April 3 to April 6, 2026.
It applies to all zone combinations, including long-distance trips across zones A, B, C, and D.
To access the discount, passengers must use a contactless credit or debit card at the ticket reader.
This flat rate offers substantial savings for those traveling from outer municipalities like Kirkkonummi, Kerava, or Sipoo into the Helsinki city center.
Normally, a single ticket covering all four zones can cost upto 5,30 euros depending on the purchase method.
The offer is specifically valid for adult single tickets purchased via contactless payment.
However, any passenger is permitted to travel using a ticket purchased in this manner.
The offer is specifically valid for adult single tickets purchased via contactless payment.
To use the system, passengers must first select their desired zones on the reader screen before tapping their card.
The bank card then serves as the valid ticket for the duration of the journey, including transfers to trains, buses, or trams.
Fare inspectors and conductors will verify the payment by scanning the same physical or mobile card used at the start of the trip.
