Finnish police are continuing their search for a German woman in her 50s who went missing in the northern municipality of Salla at the end of June, urging the public to report any sightings.
The investigation began on Monday, June 29, when authorities received a report about a passenger vehicle submerged in water. Upon arrival, emergency responders found the vehicle completely unoccupied.
Police later confirmed that the car had been driven by a German citizen. The missing woman is described as being approximately 50 years old with dark brown, medium-length hair.

The last known sighting of the woman was captured on a trail camera near the Teinniöjoki river. This camera is located in Saija, a small village within the Salla region.
